The Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center in Pueblo will be converted into “Steampunk Central Station” this summer with everything from fashion and tea dueling, to authentic Victorian clothing and century-old artifacts to explore the art, history, and culture of Steampunk. DragonCon is the largest science fiction, fantasy, and pop-culture convention of its type in the world, with crowds of over 52,000 people. NEXUS: SECAC 2014 Juried Exhibition

This juried exhibit, judged by Dr. Matthew McLendon, Curator for Modern and Contemporary Art at The Ringling Museum, is accompanying the 70th annual Southeastern College Art Conference (SECAC) in Sarasota, FL. In addition to showing work in the juried exhibition, we will also be presenting our paper Medusa, from Ovid to Cixous to ‘Once Upon A Time’ as part of the Wicked Women in Art session at the SECAC conference. Anne Rice Tribute Auction

Running simultaneously to the POP Femme Sugar Coated Strange exhibit, this tribute show of small art works inspired by Pulitizer Prize winning Author, Anne Rice, will be an auction with 100% of the proceeds going to Southwest C.A.R.E.
